A Dickens of a Crime A Meg Miller Cozy Mystery (Meg Miller Cozy Mystery Series Book 1) by Phyllis Mo

I love a good mystery, and A Dickens of a Crime by Phyllis H. Moore did not disappoint.

Meg makes for a great lead character. She is strong, funny, and believable. The author developed the relationships and interactions between the characters and the setting of the book well. I also liked Meg’s daughter and their interactions. I thought the information about the Miss Steampunk Pageant and its alignment with the #MeToo movement was done well and quite fitting for today's headlines. I also like that the author didn’t have the main character go off on her own to investigate, which sometimes makes the book unbelievable.

An enjoyable and solid mystery with a great setting, believable plot, and enough twists and turns to keep me reading.

Until next time, happy reading, and have a wonderful day.
